New Patients

Bowmanville Dental takes great pride in providing our patients with the very best dental care; new patients are welcome by appointment only. At all new patient visit our dental team will complete: a full oral exam, perform x-rays as needed, conduct cancer and gum disease screening, do a thorough scaling (cleaning), as well as polishing and fluoride treatments.

Emergencies

Emergencies are always welcome. Just give us a call at (905) 697-9799 and we will do our best to address the emergency on the same day.

Referrals

The referral of friends and family is the greatest compliment you can give and is greatly appreciated. We are always accepting new patients.

Appointment Guidelines

If for any reason you need to reschedule an appointment, we request 2 business days so that we can offer the time slot to other patients! Otherwise there will be a $50.00 fee.

Remember, a broken or failed appointment is a loss to three people
    1. The patient who missed the valuable time
    2. The patient who wanted the valuable time
    3. The dentist who was fully staffed and prepared for the visit.

Fees and Payment

Our fees are based on the current fee guide as recommended by the Ontario Dental Association. We accept Cash, MasterCard, Visa and Interac Payments.

For more comprehensive treatments, alternative financial arrangement and payment plans can be arranged.

Dental Insurance

As a service to our patients with insurance coverage, we will submit claims directly to your dental insurance company. However, payment of the patient portion for treatment is required at the completion of each appointment. Should payment not be received from the insurance company for any reason, the balance owing will be the patient’s responsibility.

Please note that your insurance policy is an agreement between you and the company providing the benefits. Please also understand that we deal with perhaps 20 insurance companies, each with 10-20 different plan variation.  As such, it is impossible for us to understand the ins and outs of each and every plan. It is the patient’s responsibility to understand the limitations of their own plan.
